the Guinness Book of Records), incredible beaches, great options
and shopping opportunities, amusement parks, desert tours, multicultural
cuisine and much more! For those who think Dubai is a destination you can get
to know quickly, we already say that it is not possible to get to know
everything in a short time. Shall we begin?
Dubai’s
best tourist attractions
Burj
Khalifa and At The Top Observation Deck
We already talked about Burj Khalifa in another post here
on the blog (click here to read), but it deserves to be mentioned again, especially when we talk
about tourist spots in Dubai. The Burj Khalifa is located in Downtown and is
surrounded by a complex of beautiful buildings, including the Dubai Mall, Dubai
Opera and The Palace Hotel.
In the middle of these buildings is a small artificial
lake that offers the Dubai Fountain show, the light sources that dance to the
rhythm of music every half hour. The show is complete with the light show
on the facade of Burj Khalifa, where dozens of drawings take over the windows
and transform it into a new building every second.
It is possible to access the viewpoint At The Top
Observation Deck, which is located on floors 124 and 125 of Burj Khalifa.
Prices are not as affordable as those of the next attraction – for adults, the
ticket price ranges from 125 AED to 200 AED – but without a doubt it is
an unforgettable and unique experience.
Global Village
Global Village is an entertainment complex that presents
the culture of different countries. With very affordable prices – tickets cost
around 15 AED – it is worth a visit. At Global Village, visitors have the
opportunity to learn about customs and habits in 30 countries, including
Turkey, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Pakistan, Thailand,
India, China, Russia, Vietnam, United States, France, Italy, Spain, United
Kingdom and Australia.
In addition, Global Village also has a large amusement
park in the best molds of yesteryear, where everyone has fun and can still win
many gifts with the right to sweets and popcorn, but the park also has more
radical toys for those who like more adrenaline.
Dubai Mall
For those who love shopping, the largest mall in the
world is a fantastic attraction. With more than 1,400 shops, restaurants and
attractions, you will surely need more than a day to get to know it fully! The
mall is in the same complex as the Burj Khalifa, so you can enjoy a whole day
in this downtown area. The entrance to the Burj Khalifa viewpoint is through
the mall, which also has an ice skating rink and the largest indoor aquarium in
the world.
Dubai
desert
The Dubai Desert is one of the most famous attractions
and visited by tourists, especially those passionate about nature and
adventure. The orange dunes at sunset enchant anyone and are the perfect
setting for amazing photos. The most famous trip to the desert is also the most
crowded: Safari 4×4 from Dubai.
Several companies carry out the tour and basically follow
the same itinerary pattern: passengers leave the city towards the dunes in the
desert around 4pm. There are several 4×4 cars that carry out the tour for the
same company. Everyone meets at a predetermined point in the desert and from
there they start to walk the dunes, until they reach the highest point where
tourists can enjoy a wonderful sunset.
Burj Al
Arab Public Beach
To close our list of Dubai’s best attractions, we will
talk about the public beach of Burj Al Arab (that 7-star hotel). This
little piece of Jumeira Beach is the best place to enjoy the incredible view of
this imposing building. The use of normal bathing suits is allowed on this
beach and there is no restriction on this on the beach, but if you need to
leave it, all the rules related to this will apply again.
